In recent years, many job seekers have expressed frustration when HR departments sus out social media behavior and use those posts as reason to pass over some potentially problematic applicants.
As one who has sought work, I feel that hiring managers have no right to require or even ask for social media access for applicants. I believe people should be hired based on their skills and qualifications, not what they say on social media.
I find myself in the position of being part of the hiring process for a significant position in my organization. This organization has been around for a good long time, is pretty prestigious, and tremendously powerful.
Both applicants have filled the position in the past, so there's definitely work history available for review.
US Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, Oaragraph 6 (modified per the 12th Amendment)
"In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected."
As President Biden's faculties declined, the duties of president should have passed to the vice president (VP), Ms Harris. As VP, she should have monitored his decline, and in the spirit of protecting the office of president, should have been the one to spearhead having a "disabled" President removed from office with dignity.
Instead, at best, she did nothing. She stood by and allowed his mental decline embarrasse and humiliate this nation in front of the entire world.
At worst, she lied about his competence and conspired with other players in the White House, and possibly Congress at large, to prop him up, and use him like a puppet to carry out their agendas.
Either way, she did not honorably execute her duties to the people of this nation.
During her current campaign, I have seen her present word salad with no real substance, dodge difficult questions, repeating rote lines in response to nuanced questions (not really answering the actual question asked). No original thoughts, no solid plans, no actual substance.
I cannot in good conscience place my support behind her campaign to be president of the United States of America.
By contrast, her opponent spent four years reducing taxes. This enabled business owners of all kinds to expand. This allowed consumers to accomplish more with their paychecks. A robust economy was the result.
He made significant power-backed connections with other world leaders, resulting in peaceful relations across the board. Nobody invaded or bombed anyone during that administration.
Crime dropped dramatically. Violent as well as nonviolent. Given 2020 being a significant anomaly is left out of this statistic for violent crime:
377.7 per 100,000 in 2017
373.4 in 2018
363.9 in 2019
Covid struck toward the end of 2019. He called it when he said it was leaked from the Wuhan lab. He fast-tracked development of a vaccine. He rolled out administration of the vaccine, increasing availability and administration of the vax at an unbelievable rate.
Through tariffs and America-first international economic policies, brought businesses back to US soil, creating jobs, reducing unemployment to the lowest rate in decades for all demographics.
And plans to do more of the same.
Immigration was reformed and miles of wall was built to protect the integrity of how this nation was run, as well as reduce violent crime.

Basing my decision on skills and actual accomplishments alone, the choice is clear
