"Cancel culture" is seen to be a left side of the aisle thing.
But is it really?
Capitalism is a beautifully organic system. Full disclosure of products and services, and let customers tell you who they like via their money.
If you don't like a company, their product is shoddy, their service is inferior, or you find the their business ethics lacking, you're completely within your rights to find another provider. Or become the competition.
This boycotting if companies you disagree with... That's cancel culture!
The Left think they invented the idea. But it's been around much longer!

A truly awful fellow!
But back to the topic at hand: cancel culture and the boycott.
There are certain individuals and companies I am reluctant to spend my cluck-budget on.
The Kardashians. They don't even deserve an explanation for why. To me, the reasons I don't do the K-club is self evident.
And now Tesla. Both the company and the man.
Per his Wikipedia page, he was a proponent of a basic style of eugenics. But to his credit, he also wasn't supportive of society's placing women in a position of subservience to men.
The current CEO of the company. While clearly intelligent, business (-ish) and financially savvy, he is in possession of some pretty extreme political ideologies. And he just got appointed to head a new governmental department. Without a confirmation hearing. He's in charge of a new national-level governmental department and is a N-word (not the "usual one" but the other one). He's antisemitic, racist, and that has me deeply troubled!
How will his ideologies affect how he carries out this appointment?
Until I find indication to the contrary, I will not be supporting the company. (Besides, I think the truck is ugly!)
